NBC 5 / KXAS-TV has been awarded seven Silver Telly Awards (1st place) and 27 Bronze Telly Awards (2nd place) in the 36th Annual Telly Awards competition among nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries.
NBC 5 won awards in both the Regional TV/Multi-Market Cable and Local TV/Local Cable categories. Silver and Bronze Telly Awards were earned for use of animation, editing, art direction, videography, and music/jingle. Additionally, NBC 5 earned Bronze Telly Awards for media promotion, copywriting, directing, visual effects, use of graphics, media promotion, public service, campaign - promotional/branding and campaign – business-to-consumer.
