Mavericks' Carlisle: “Playing a Big String of Games at Home is Challenging”

Coming off a disappointing loss in Orlando to the Magic, their fifth loss in their last six games, the Dallas Mavericks are preparing to play nine of their next ten games at home.

With players used to coming and going on the road throughout the NBA season, Mavs coach Rick Carlisle actually sees the long stretch of games ahead in Dallas potentially as a real test.

“Playing a big string of games at home is very challenging,” Carlisle said Saturday afternoon.  “But right now, you know what? Bring them on. Bring on all the challenges.  We’ve got to face up to it.  And if we can’t do it, then we don’t belong in the hunt.”

The Mavericks begin the stretch of games in the American Airlines Center with a match up against Philadelphia Sunday at 6 p.m.
