Man Told Teen Girl to Get Into His Car: Lewisville Police

Lewisville police said they're investigating after a man made lewd comments to a teen girl at a bus stop Thursday morning.

Police said the man drove a gray four-door car into the entrance of the Somerset Apartments in the 250 block of East Corporate Drive, stopped near the bus stop and told the 17-year-old girl to get into his car.

The girl ignored the man, entered the school bus and called her mother, who called police. Officers met the teen at school, police said.

"We are certainly alarmed by this, and it's a very uncomfortable and crude thing to say to a stranger," Lewisville Police Department Captain Dan Rochelle said. "We'd like to find the guy and talk to him, but no criminal offense was made."

The man never exited his vehicle, according to Rochelle.

Police said the man is not the same as the man who tried to abduct a teen girl in Lewisville Tuesday.

Lewisville Police Department officials asked that anyone with information about this incident call them at 972-219-3620 or the TIPS line at 972-219-TIPS (8477).
