A man is in jail after leading Carrollton police on a chase Tuesday night.

Carrollton police attempted to stop a green Camaro on northbound Josey Lane and Hebron Parkway at about midnight. The driver took off headed north into The Colony.

The chase extended more than four and a half miles to state Highway 121 and Plano Parkway when the driver spun out of control and police arrested the man.

Authorities determined that the man had misdemeanor warrants from Carrollton and are investigating the possibility he was impaired.
