An Internal Revenue Service investigation brought dozens of undercover agents, sheriff deputies and DPS troopers out to a property on County Road 118 off of Farm To Market 243 in Kaufman County.
A sign describes the property as a training facility called "Carril Los Alazanes." YouTube videos show horses racing on what appears to be this property.
TJ Etheridge said he heard the races every Sunday, "you'd hear screaming, like woo woo, then horses running down they had black walls do you couldnt see in."
Many neighbors told us there were traffic issues as a result, with long lines down a narrow CR 118.
Kaufman County deputies and troopers were not allowed to discuss the investigation. A spokesperson for the IRS told us authorities were on site for a search warrant conducted by the criminal division for the IRS.
That spokesperson went on to say, due to Department of Justice guidelines, it could not provide more information.
