Some residents of the Cottonwood Creek Mobile Home Park in Wilmer were evacuated Friday due to a gas leak, police say.

A high-pressure gas line near the 500 block of Boyd Road was accidentally ruptured by a construction crew, police said.

There have been no injuries reported and the gas has not ignited, police said.

Atmos crews have been dispatched to repair the ruptured line.
