Garland Strip Mall Catches Fire Overnight

advertisement

A North Texas strip mall is in need of repairs following an overnight fire.

A second round of Garland firefighters were called to battle the fire on the 1700 block of First Street.

When crews arrived at about 2 a.m., smoke was visible filling several of the businesses.

Investigators aren't yet sure how the fire started, but they believe it might have began in a hair salon.

No one was inside the strip mall at the time.  There have been no reported injuries.
