Update: Garland police said they safely located 87-year-old Roy Thomas, who had been missing since Wednesday.
Thomas had last been seen driving a 2003 silver Ford Taurus with Texas handicap license plate 1CSJP and hasn't been home on Ripplewood Drive for more than eight hours.
Police said Thomas is believed to be driving to the area of Arapaho Road and U.S. Highway 75 in Richardson.
He is described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 145 pounds with gray hair and bald on top. He wears glasses and has health issues requiring regular medication.
Anyone who knows where Thomas may be is asked to call Garland police.
