The City of Fort Worth will unveil changes made at the east side's Gateway Park on Saturday.
The city said the latest improvements to the park include scenic overlooks, updated park trails, a new trailhead and pedestrian bridges.
To celebrate the upgrades, the Trinity River Vision Authority will host a 5K Fun Run following a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday morning.
The ribbon cutting starts at 8 a.m. and the run at 8:15 a.m.
