The body of 44-year-old Amy Wyro was found Saturday evening in a wooded area about a half a mile from her home on the 9000 block of Shoveler Trail.
Fort Worth police believe she has been there since she disappeared Tuesday.
There were no obvious signs of trauma, officials said.
Wyro's cousin, Nicole Foster, said that her cousin was distraught, leading investigators to believe the most likely cause of death was suicide.
An autopsy will be performed to confirm Wyro's cause of death.
