A prank caused the lockdown of two North Texas schools on Wednesday, police say.
According to officers, both Benbrook Middle/High School and nearby Westpark Elementary were placed on lockdown just before noon on Monday, which happened to be the last day of school.[[306512661,C]]
The school was on lockdown while the campuses were checked and cleared by police.
No threat was found and the lockdown was lifted at about 12:30 p.m.
Details about the prank were not released.
Both schools are in the Fort Worth Independent School District.
