Teen Arrested, Accused of Threatening Forney School: Authorities

Kaufman County Sheriff's deputies said they arrested a 15-year-old student Tuesday who made threats against a high school.

Forney Independent School District officials said they were notified that the teen's told several other students he was going to shoot up North Forney High School Wednesday.

Kaufman County Sheriff's deputies and district police investigated the threats and arrested the teen at 11 p.m. He remains in custody Wednesday and faces a charge of exhibition of a firearm.

District officials said the high school will be in session as scheduled Wednesday. Additional officers will be posted at the school as a precaution.
