An anonymous tip led to the arrest a man shot during Wednesday's robbery of a Family Dollar store, according to Fort Worth Police.
Patrick Leon Collins, Jr. was taken into custody early Saturday morning.
Collins had two felony warrants for his arrest; one an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon warrant for a September shooting in Fort Worth, the other for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in Houston.
After interviewing Collins, Fort Worth Police robbery detectives said he was the only suspect in Wednesday's Family Dollar robbery that ended with officers shooting at him.
Collins was shot in the abdomen and hand and is being guarded as he receives treatment for those injuries. He was listed in good condition.
Three additional aggravated robbery warrants have been issued for Collins and may face more charges, according to Fort Worth Police.
When Collins is released from the hospital. police said they would take him immediately to the Fort Worth jail.
