FBI Visits Dallas DA's Office

Three FBI agents from the corruption squad were at the Dallas County District Attorney's office Wednesday morning.

The agents arrived just after 9 a.m. and stayed until just before noon.  A reporter for the Dallas Morning News was at the DA's office at the time but the agents declined to make any comment on their presence.

Special Agent in Charge Robert Casey told NBC 5 that federal agents are pushing to curb public corruption and that "there should be some nervous people if they're doing something wrong."

Not much is known about why the agents were there, or who they were investigating.  All that is known is that their visit was unusal, according to statements made in the DMN report.

NBC 5's Linda Angelle and Shane Allen contributed to this report.
