A Dallas man who was critically injured after collapsing inside his burning home Tuesday morning has died.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner's office says 80-year-old Bobby Thomas died Wednesday evening.
Emergency responders found Thomas inside his home at 1900 block of Gallagher sometime after 3 a.m. Tuesday. His wife said she tried to pull him from the home, but was unable to do it on her own.
Rescuers performed CPR on the man about 20 minutes, fire crews said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
