Police in Collin County arrested a Dallas Police Sergeant early Saturday. Officer Paul Figueroa is accused of Family Violence Assault, a misdemeanor.
He was taken into custody by the Murphy Police Department on Saturday, September 8. Figueroa posted bail and was released from jail by Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
The Dallas Police Department said Figueroa joined the force in August of 1994. He is on administrative leave while the investigation continues.
