Just after 11 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a call for a structure fire on Valley Street in South Dallas.
Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived at the residence where at least four people were inside.
Firefighters put out the flames, but found the body of a 65-year-old woman inside.
The home in question was not equipped with smoke alarms, according to reports.
The cause of the fire and the cause of the woman's death has not yet been determined.
