Fort Worth based American Airlines confirmed to NBC DFW that a flight from London to DFW International Airport had to make two unscheduled stops on Saturday.
AA Flight 51 Heathrow to DFW diverted to Iceland for a very sick passenger. The passenger was taken off the flight and transported to a hospital. There's no word on their condition.
Flight 51 was then diverted to New York's JFK airport to switch crews.
The flight took off for DFW airport where it's expected to land Saturday evening.
