Tuesday at The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo a local boy shows not even a bad accident can keep him from that dream.
Dane Lancaster, 11, from Montague County was badly hurt in while calf roping eight months ago.
The Stock Show told NBC 5 there was concern he'd never function again, let alone survive — but he's back and will be in action Tuesday showing his dairy cattle and proving that his prayers have been answered.
There is still some recovery in Lancaster's future, but seeing him now it's hard to believe how far he's come in such a short time.
