A bicyclist hit by a driver early Tuesday morning along a busy North Texas highway has died, Arlington police say.
The crash took place at about 4 a.m. on the 3800 block of northbound Texas 360 where police said a driver attempting to change lanes hit a man riding a bicycle along the highway.
Police said the driver of the vehicle, who stopped and tried to provide aid to the injured cyclist, said other vehicles may have also hit the man.
The cyclist, later identified by police as 34-year-old Gregory Williams, of Grand Prairie, died Thursday.
Crash investigators described the area as dark and difficult to see and said the driver of the car is not expected to face any charges.
