Grand Prairie police are asking for help identifying a woman wanted in connection with a string of bank robberies across the Metroplex.

Police said the woman, wanted for two robberies in Grand Prairie, may have robbed as many as 10 banks in North Texas.

The woman is black and has a mole or piercing above the right side of her lip. She is in her 30s or 40s, is approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.

In the robberies, she's been seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes and oversized black-framed sunglasses.

Each robbery occurred at a bank branch located inside of a large retail store.

In most instances, the woman enters the bank and displays a note demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, witnesses have seen her leaving the scene in a silver car or PT Cruiser.
