Armed Men Carjack Man Who Gave Them Ride: Fort Worth Police

Police said they're looking for two men who carjacked a man at gunpoint in Fort Worth Sept. 20.

Fort Worth police said two men pointed a gun at the victim and stole his 2015 Kia Optima in the the 1000 block of Brown Drive at about 8:30 p.m.

The victim told officers he was giving one of the men a ride after the man's car broke down the Summer Creek area, according to police. The man said his brother also needed a ride, so the victim picked up the other man at a Walmart parking lot.

Police said the men then asked the victim to stop at a gas station, where surveillance cameras captured video of one of the men.

After leaving the gas station, police said one of the men pointed a .22-caliber revolver at the victim and told him to exit the car. The men then drove away.

The victim described the first man as 6 feet tall, 130 pounds and wearing a black T-shirt, black cargo shorts and a black backpack, according to police. The second man was described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 140 pounds and wearing an American flag-type shirt and greenish-tan pants.
