Arlington police and HAZMAT crews spent the early-morning hours investigating a suspicious powder and liquid found in the parking lot at Martin High School.
Around 4:45 a.m. Thursday, an officer was checking a car in the parking lot. That officer reported seeing a powder and liquid that was suspicious and called the fire department.
Arlington police towed the vehicle and made an arrest for possession of marijuana after the incident, a police spokesman said.
Fire crews field-tested the items, and continue to investigate.
