Crews are set to reduce the Fox Avenue bridge in Lewisville to one lane in each direction in preparation for the demolition of the south side of the bridge.
The work to configure the lane changes will go on nightly between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Saturday, March 7 through Thursday, March 12.
The single-lane configuration is expected to be in place through early 2016.
Crews will begin preparations to demolish the south side of the bridge and the pedestrian walkway once the lane changes are set. A temporary walkway will be put in place.
The new bridge will feature two traffic lanes in each direction, a 10-foot wide pedestrian walkway on the south side and sidewalk on the north side of the bridge.
