None of the 22 kids on the bus headed to Clifford Davis Elementary School suffered major injuries when it crashed into a sedan at about 7:40 a.m., however one fourth grader told NBC 5 that his leg hurt and he was limping after hearing his knee pop in during the crash.

"I want to get my child checked out. They’re saying he’s OK but he’s limping and I don’t know what’s going with him," said Ashley McLennan. "Of course, he’s scared and he don’t want to say anything to no one. So I’m going to go get him checked out. I would like answers to what’s going on. What caused this?"

Per MedStar ambulance, only two minor injuries were reported and none required hospitalization.

The bus and sedan collided near the intersection of Mansfield Highway and Glen Eden Drive, less than a mile from the school.

Police have not yet released the cause of the wreck.
