Dallas police said the two masked men shot the employee at the convenience store in the 3900 block of South Cockrell Hill Road at about 5 a.m.
The two men then ran from the store, according to police.
The manager of the Sunshine Foodmart store told NBC 5 one of his clerks, who started work three weeks ago, was shot and killed.
