Three people were sent to the hospital after dual car crashes on Interstate 820 in Fort Worth Saturday afternoon.
According to firefighters, One adult and one child were in a Jeep Cherokee when it crashed into a pillar near the intersection of Loop 820 and Azle Avenue.
Both were rushed to hospitals in critical condition, according to paramedics.
Soon after, a second crash happened when a driver struck two cars, sending them into a ditch. One person was taken by ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital Hospital in Fort Worth.
Nine people were treated and released at the scene, according to a MedStar spokesman.
Westbound lanes of Loop 820 were closed as crews cleared the scenes of both wrecks.
