By now you've heard the story of Willis Willis, whom we would like to call Willis Squared from now on.

Willis² was duped out of his million-dollar Texas lottery ticket and now the Texas Lottery Commission's lawyers say they aren't coughing up a dime toward Willis²'s rightful winnings.

More than 60 percent of NBCDFW users are furious about the Texas Lottery Commission's stance on the subject.

NBCDFW reader Nick Russo has a plan and you Texans can help.

Russo proposes all Texans who would normally spend a dollar to play the lottery instead put that money in a fund. Then Texans would come up with Willis²'s winning jackpot. And what if "we" raise more than Willis²'s jackpot winnings? Well, then "we" hand it over to the Texas Lottery Commission so that it can set up a reserve fund in case some scoundrel takes off with a winner's ticket again.

We at NBCDFW have a better idea, instead of giving the lottery commission the money,  "we" should put the excess money in a reward fund to find Pankaj Joshi, the Grand Prairie convenience store clerk indicted for lottery fraud.

When caught perhaps we can subject Joshi to paper cuts using that ticket he gave Willis² that was worth a measly $2.
