Southwest Airlines Pilots Picket Outside Love Field

For the first time ever, pilots for Southwest Airlines picketed outside their home base of Dallas Love Field Wednesday. They also set up a picket line outside the company's headquarters building.

Pilots say they're frustrated after four years of contract negotiations without reaching a deal. The pilots contend Southwest is not sharing the benefits of years of record profits.

Southwest says it remains committed to reaching an agreement, and expressed disappointment that the pilots union rejected a tentative deal last fall.

Contract negotiations are expected to resume next month with a federal mediator.
