Arlington Holds Off on Drilling Site Decision

The Arlington City Council decided Tuesday night to put off making a decision about a controversial gas drilling site.

Titan Energy needs a permit from the city before it can begin to drill on a 40-acre horse farm near Cooper Street and Green Oaks Boulevard.

More than 100 people attended Tuesday night's meeting to voice concern about the proposed site.

The City Council decided to delay making a final decision on the site until later this month.

The city rejected a similar request from Titan Energy last month.
