A Fort Worth resident suffered only minor injuries after crashing into an apartment building Thursday morning.

A call was received shortly before 11:30 a.m. that a vehicle had struck a building at the Ladera Palms Apartments, on the 4500 block of Campus Drive near E. Seminary Drive.  The apartments are located north of the Tarrant County College's South Campus.

One person, a resident, was treated for a minor injury at the scene and released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Time Hardeman, with the Fort Worth Fire Department, said firefighters are monitoring the structure stability while maintenance workers remove the car from the building.

The severity of damage to the building is not yet known.

NBC 5's Alex Russell contributed to this report.
