Collin County law enforcement agencies investigated a suspicious device found in a rural section of McKinney.
Collin County Sheriff Lt. John Norton said the device was found near the intersection of County Road 166/167 and County Road 168.
The Plano bomb squad detonated the device shortly before 6 p.m. The device was described as a tube with a fuse.
