A Dallas area man died from complications of the H1N1 flu.

Dallas County Health and Human Services reported the man's death on Monday. Health investigators say the victim has other health issues.

17 people have died from complications related to the H1N1 virus.

Health experts say there is still a risk of infection and they urge people are high risk to get the H1N1 vaccine.

People in the following groups should get vaccinated first due to their high-risk for infection: pregnant women, health care and emergency medical services personnel, people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age, persons between the ages of 6 months to 24 years old and persons ages 25 to 64 years old with chronic medical conditions.
