"Dancing With the Stars" has a situation on its hands.

Mike Sorrentino, the omnipresent, abs-baring "Jersey Shore" cast member better known as The Situation, is set to join the next season of ABC's popular reality show, reports OK! magazine.

He'll cut a rug alongside former "Hills" star Audrina Patridge, R & B singer Brand and former NFL All Pro quarterback Kurt Warner. The full cast of the show will be released August 30.

The Situation is picking up projects at a furious pace, and could pull down $5 million in earnings by year's end, according to the New York Daily News.

Sorrentino is reportedly making $60,000 per episode of "Jersey Shore's" third season and is well compensated for his various public appearances.

He recently signed a deal to release a workout DVD and a book is potentially in the works as well.
