LeAnn Rimes Checks Into Rehab for Anxiety and Stress

Country songbird enters 30-day program at an undisclosed treatment facility.

LeAnn Rimes is taking steps to take care of her herself.

The country star has checked into a treatment facility to seek help for "anxiety and stress."

The star entered the program, whose location wasn't disclosed, on Wednesday, a day after she and husband Eddie Cibrian celebrated her 30th birthday with an intimate dinner in Malibu.

"LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30-day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress," her rep said in a statement to People.

"While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms."

The songbird tells the mag she hopes the program will help her learn how to face life's challenges with a stronger and more positive outlook.

LeAnn and Eddie renew their wedding vows

"This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be," she said.

One thing she can count on: her husband's support. "I will be with her every step of the way," Cibrian, 39, tells the mag.

The two renewed their wedding vows in April after celebrating their first year of marriage.
