Blake Shelton says he's "in a good place" following his split from Miranda Lambert.

The 39-year-old country star and "The Voice" coach talked about his life post-breakup in an interview on CMT's "Hot 20 Countdown Show" on Saturday. He and Lambert, 31, announced in July they were divorcing after four years of marriage.

"I'm in a good place," he said on the show. "I wasn't but I am now. It's amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I've had some pretty cool things in recent times that've happened and I'm loving it."

He also talked about his noticeable weight loss.

"I would like to sit here and tell you that I've been exercising, but I haven't been," Shelton told CMT. "I push-mow my lawn. I don't know."

When asked about the weight loss last month, Shelton's rep had told E! News that the country singer had been doing "the two things he hates to do–diet and exercise."

Shelton has not revealed how many pounds he's shed in recent months. He had joked in a recent radio interview that he's been on a "divorce diet."

In July, weeks before he and Lambert announced their separation, Shelton tweeted, "I'm mowing with a push mower. I'm mowing a BIG yard with a push mower. I make a lot of money and I'm mowing a BIG yard with a push mower!!!"

"I push-mow my lawn because I'm so stupid that, I mean, I've made enough money at this point, I could have a riding lawn mower or even better yet, just hire somebody to come mow my lawn," he told CMT. "But it's like, you know, we had all this rain in Oklahoma, the first part of the year, like an unbelievable amount and one day, in the middle of crisis and chaos with my personal life, I walked out and I was just thinking, like, 'What's going on in my life? I mean, it's just so cra – what the hell is going on with my yard?!'"

"And sadly, I still have it," he added.
