Tiger Woods Moves Into Manhattan Apartment: Report

A tiger may not be able to change its stripes, but it can definitely find a new lair.

Tiger Woods, 34, was spotted moving into a lower Manhattan apartment while in town for a tournament in Paramus, last weekend, reports Us Weekly.

Woods' reported move comes just a week after his divorce to former Swedish model Elin Nordegren was made official. The split came nine months after a Thanksgiving weekend incident blew the lid off a series of extramarital trysts the golf star carried out over the course of their six-year marriage.

Terms of the settlement were not released, but estimates have Nordegren receiving as much as $100 million of Woods' $600 million estimated worth. The Sunday Times of London reported that she may use some of that money to open a mental health clinic in Florida, where their family lived.

The couple will maintain a "shared parenting" arrangement for their two children, Sam, 3, and Charlie, 1.

Nordegren made her first public comments on the situation last week in an interview with People magazine in which she said she never had any clue that Tiger had been stepping out on her.

"I'm so embarrassed that I never suspected -- not a one," she said.

Since the affairs became public, Woods has been a shell of the formerly unstoppable force that dominated the PGA Tour for years. However, he showed signs of returning to form at last week's Barclays event. He was tied for the lead after day one, shooting a stellar 65 in the opening round. He faded Friday and Saturday and finished in 12th place, which will still his best result since June.
