Russell Brand's not making any money off his split with Katy Perry.

In a response to Brand's divorce filing, Perry requested the court not be involved in awarding spousal support to her very-soon-to-be ex-husband, according to documents obtained by E! Online.

The documents filed Tuesday indicate that they've settled on issues related to their Dec. 30 split, though the divorce won't be official until a six month waiting period, required by California law, has passed.

Brand, citing irreconcilable differences, filed for divorce in Los Angeles after rumors about their doomed marriage reached a fever pitch.

Five days earlier, photographs surfaced of Perry, 27, spending Christmas in Hawaii with friends, while Brand, 36, was in London.

The couple married in October 2010 after a year-long courtship that began after they ran into each other at the September 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Brand hosted the show and she performed.

Since splitting each has kept a low profile. Katy Perry didn't attend the People's Choice Awards in January where she won five trophies (though she did tweet a big "THANK U" to all her fans who voted). Brand has shrugged off any questions about his well-being post-break-up. "I'm quite well, thank you," he said at Television Critics Association panel in January during a tour to promote his new show, "Strangely Uplifting," which will debut on FX this April.

Perry is slated to perform at the Grammy awards on Feb. 12, which will be her first major public appearance since the break-up.
