Profar Makes Camp Visit

Jurickson Profar isn't a full resident in Surprise, Arizona right now where the Texas Rangers hold their spring training camp. He's on the 60-day disabled list after undergoing shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum, meaning he'll miss the entire 2015 season after missing the entire 2014 season.

The former top prospect in all of baseball has a lot of reasons to be a bit depressed with his current situation, so the Rangers thought it'd be a good idea for him to pay a visit to Surprise to be around his teammates and baseball.

So now, Profar is taking a few days in Arizona to be around his friends and teammates and get away from the monotony of the rehab process.

The Rangers want to keep Profar involved and keep his interest in the game, which is important for someone in his unique position of being so young (21) but so far removed from his last big-league game (2013).

It's a good strategy for the Rangers to employ, and you have to think it might not be his only trip to be with his buddies this year.
