Never Too Early For Rangers To Look Ahead To 2015 Schedule

Considering this forgettable disaster of a Rangers’ season, it’s never too early to look toward 2015.

We don’t know who is going to manage next year’s team or who their closer will be, but we do know that they’ll begin what is hopefully a bounce-back year against the Oakland A’s on April 6.

The Rangers, currently a brisk 34 games out of first place in the American League West, open at home at Globe Life Park on April 10 against the Astros. It’s the team’s latest home opener since 2005, when they didn’t play their first game in Arlington until April 11.

We’ll know pretty quickly whether the Rangers can recover next season, as they’ll play AL West foes 19 times in the season’s opening month.

The 2015 schedule is highlighted by two 10-game homestands (late July and mid-September), a July 4th home game against the Angels and interleague series against the NL West.
