    Esquire Home Collection

Following in the footsteps of Country Living and Good Housekeeping, Esquire magazine has debuted a line of uber-manly furniture named after cocktails. The 21 tufted, mostly leather pieces cost around $1,625 for a Boilermaker ottoman and $5,600 for the Manhattan Bar trunk. According to the Esquire Home Collection website, the philosophy of the furnishings is "a unique furniture collection with the same attention to detail as a custom-made suit." But don't worry about spilling your gin and tonic on your bespoke Whisky Collins club chair: The seating, tables and casegoods are designed for durability. As the distributor of the collection's COO, Jerome Kearns told the Times last week: "It’s men’s furniture--you don’t have to clean it up. It’s leather...I let my dog lick it up.”

If you need a spot for all your Esquire furniture, you can now purchase the publication's latest Ultimate Bachelor Pad, a 9,000-square-foot, 11-bedroom home in the Hollywood Hills. It's listed on the market for $18.9 million.
