VP: Dallas Drafted Seven Potential Starters

Stephen Jones seems pretty optimistic about the Cowboys' 2013 Draft Class

Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones seems pretty content with the 2013 draft class.

Jones said over the weekend that of the seven players drafted, he sees all of them as potential starters--which seems a mite optimistic to us, but either way.

“We’ve got here seven players of what I think are going to start, compete, be productive for our football team this year,” Jones said, per ESPN Dallas. “I don’t think any of these guys we’ve drafted come to mind, or when we look at them here, that they all can’t potentially be a starter on our football team.”

The most immediate improvement made via the draft seems to come from first rounder, Wisconsin center Travis Frederick, who will help shore up an interior offensive line group that struggled throughout 2012.
