Tony Romo Has Been Pretty Good In November

For the many Dallas Cowboys fans that are in dire need of some good news following that vicious beat-down last week, we bring you this: It is now November. Tony Romo has been really, really good in November. In fact, he has a career record of 15-2 as a starter in the month of November.

So, you know, there’s that.

Romo is coming off a highly uncharacteristic lag in production. As Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News points out today, he posted at least 300 yards passing in four of the team’s first five games. Against the Eagles and Rams combined through the past two weeks, though, he’s gone for just 369.

With the woeful Seattle Seahawks next on the schedule and the weather getting colder, if history is any indicator, this short lived trend could soon end. Because as Guns 'N' Roses taught so many years ago, nothing lasts forever in that cold November rain.
