Tiger Woods, Tony Romo Talk Back Problems

Woods is recovering from a similar back procedure to the one undergone by Romo last December

Tiger Woods said this week on his website that he had “the exact same surgery” as Tony Romo, and that he had been texting back and forth with the Dallas Cowboys’ signal caller--who is also an old friend of Woods’--to discuss their respective recoveries.

Woods pulled out of The Masters last month, and has only now begun chipping and putting. There’s no timetable set for his return.

Romo got hurt in Week 16’s comeback victory over the Redskins and was forced to undergo surgery to repair a herniated disk in his back. He missed Week 17’s season-ending loss to the Eagles.

I talked to [Romo] a lot about it because he was in a lot of pain after a game against the Washington Redskins,” Woods wrote in a blog post on Monday. “He just couldn't function anymore.”
