TO Agrees To Deal With Seattle, Will Face Cowboys In Week Two

Terrell Owens agreed to a one-year deal with the Seahawks on Monday

Terrell Owens is back in the NFL.

According to reports, Owens agreed to a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, just a few hours after working out for the team. As a member of Pete Carroll’s squad, Owens will face his former mates in Dallas when the Cowboys travel to Seattle in week two.

Fox's Jay Glazer broke the news Monday evening, via Twitter.

This is Owens’ first job in the NFL since the end of the 2010 season, when his one-year deal with the Bengals ran out. Since then, he played for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League where, despite posting some predictably impressive numbers, he was released for showing “a lack of interest.”

Seattle will be Owens’ sixth NFL team. The 38-year-old has also played for the 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bills and Bengals over what most believe to be a Hall of Fame career.
