TCU WR Josh Boyce Encouraged After Visit to Valley Ranch

Boyce is projected to go in the mid-rounds of this month's draft

TCU receiver Josh Boyce spent two days at Valley Ranch this week, one of around 30 such visits afforded the Cowboys prior to the NFL Draft later this month. When the visit came to an end, Boyce wasn’t hesitant in saying that he’d love to wear the star on his helmet.

It would be great,” Boyce said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “It’s America’s Team. Everybody likes the Cowboys. It would be great if I could stay in Texas and play.”

Boyce is projected as a mid-round pick after running an impressive 4.38 40-yard dash at the Combine. He couldn’t work out for the Cowboys during his visit this week due to a fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, but doesn’t see the injury as a problem moving forward.

“It happened at a good time,” Boyce said. “Everything worked out for me.”

Boyce will also visit with the Steelers and the Patriots prior to the draft.
