Cowboys rookie defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence left Sunday feeling pretty good about his NFL debut.
“I kind of had a pretty good overall game,” Lawrence said, per the Dallas Morning News. “Still a lot of things I can clean up, get better on. Overall, I think it was pretty good for the first game.”
Lawrence, who recorded two tackles against the Cards and applied a good deal of pressure on the Cardinals’ Carson Palmer, missed the first half of the season after breaking his foot in late July.
“Waiting on this opportunity is a tough time,” Lawrence said of his eight week absence. “But now getting the chance to play I felt pretty good.”
