Lawrence Feels “Pretty Good” About Debut

DeMarcus Lawrence made his NFL debut Sunday after missing the first eight weeks of the season

Cowboys rookie defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence left Sunday feeling pretty good about his NFL debut.

I kind of had a pretty good overall game,” Lawrence said, per the Dallas Morning News. “Still a lot of things I can clean up, get better on. Overall, I think it was pretty good for the first game.”

Lawrence, who recorded two tackles against the Cards and applied a good deal of pressure on the Cardinals’ Carson Palmer, missed the first half of the season after breaking his foot in late July.

“Waiting on this opportunity is a tough time,” Lawrence said of his eight week absence. “But now getting the chance to play I felt pretty good.”
