Injury Update: Bennett, Witten Limited In Practice, Should Play Sunday

The Dallas Cowboys returned to Valley Ranch from their long weekend today, and had some encouraging news on the injury front. Guard Kyle Kosier, tackle Marc Colombo, and wide receivers Dez Bryant and Sam Hurd returned to practice today after being limited all of last week.

Tight ends Jason Witten and Martellus Bennett were limited with an MCL sprain and an undisclosed injury, respectively, but they, too, are expected to be available for Sunday afternoon’s game against Tennessee.

The most questionable of the injured bunch is Kosier. Kosier suffered a sprained MCL in the Cowboys’ 27-13 victory over the Texans in Houston last week--an aggravation of a similar injury suffered before week one. Initially, trainers set the timetable for Kosier’s recovery at 2-4 weeks, but the team is encouraged by his progress thus far.

The extra three days of recovery hasn’t likely hurt, either.
