While in Seattle for a preseason game against the Seahawks, Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott stopped into a recreational marijuana shop, according to TMZ.

TMZ reported that Elliott did not buy anything in the store near downtown Seattle Thursday.

After Thursday's game, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told The Dallas Morning News that he was aware of Elliott's visit.

"It's just not good. That's a part of just really getting the big picture here," he said. "In general, while it may not be wrong, it's just not good."

Even though marijuana is legal in Seattle, its use is still illegal in the NFL. Players who test positive for the drug face fines and suspensions.

The Cowboys have dealt with their share of drug-related suspensions already this year, losing defensive end Demarcus Lawrence for four games, linebacker Rolando McClain for 10 games and defensive end Randy Gregory for at least 10 games.
