With a division title on the line and Andrew Luck in town, the Dallas Cowboys defense chose a good night to put up their best performance of the season.

The Cowboys defense held the Colts to a total of 229 yards and seven points--and the seven came only after Dallas had jumped to a 42-0 lead in the fourth quarter. Luck was held to 109 yards passing and was forced into two interceptions by the Dallas defense before being pulled for Matt Hasselbeck, and finished with a season worst passer rating of 41.7.

“There are high expectations, especially on the offensive side of the ball,” Luck said after the 42-7 rout, per the team’s official site. “To go out and score every drive. To get points and move the ball. When we don’t, it’s disappointing. When you go out and play like this, it’s a bad feeling. Against a good team like the Cowboys, you aren’t going to survive those mistakes.”

Perhaps the most impressive stat from the Cowboys defensive performance: They surrendered a total of one rushing yard to the Colts. One.

“That’s amazing,” defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford said. “Shout out to us. Everybody was making plays.”
